Pioneertown is about 10 minutes from the township of Yucca Valley, and Rockwood is about 10 more minutes from there out into the desert.
The last 3 miles to Rockwood are on dusty Gamma Gulch Road.

Pro tip: Go into the menu on Google Maps app on your phone, and look for "Offline areas", then "Custom areas". Select the general zone from Yucca Valley to Rockwood, and download it. That way you can navigate if the internet drops because your phone can still track you with zero bars if it knows the map.
Parking
If you're staying off site, come toward the house for parking. There will be little orange flags to designate parking spots.
