Giant Rock Meeting Room - fun bar and patio for a pizza, also have a nice salad, out in Flamingo Heights.
La Copine - also Flamingo Heights, brunch specialists, also very popular, so expect to wait (weird hours so check).

Kasa Market & Taco Shop - 56089 Twentynine Palms Highway - great little market with Mexican deli and taco shop out back.
Desierto Alto - fancy liquor store and deli, with high quality offerings including good mezcal and cheeses.
Wine and Rock Shop - fancy wine store that also sells snacks, beer, crystals and other necessary items.
Joshua Tree Village -- a good option for some desert chic browsing, dining and window shopping (aka, A/C jumping).
